Job description
Key Performance Areas:
- Ensure the provision of maintenance and repair services for Property, Buildings, Equipment and General handyman services.
- Manufactures and Installs Office and Laboratory Furniture and Equipment
- Ensures that sub-contractors are supervised effectively and efficiently
- Ensures that maintenance administration is undertaken effectively and efficiently
- Ensures that allocation and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Supervises staff to ensure good relations, teamwork, staff development and a professional service delivery

Minimum requirements
Education:
- Grade 12
- Qualified Technical Diploma in either Electrical, Carpentry, Refrigeration or Instrumentation
Experience:
- 3 -5 years experience in a supervisory position in a workshop and/or maintenance environment
Other (Knowledge and Skills):
- Knowledge and understanding of building regulations and machinery regulations
