Minimum requirements

Education

  • B.Comm Degree or equivalent.
  • Post Graduate Degree would be an advantage.
  • MCIPS or CPIM qualification preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Category Manager within the medical and or pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 5 years' management experience within the procurement profession of which 3 years should be of senior level in the public or
    private sector
  • Experience in an environment where a high level of interface with a diverse range of stakeholders and customers is required.
  • Product domain knowledge in an ICT and or Transport or Facilities Management
  • Working knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage.
  • Extensive experience in category and commodity management.
