Job description

Key Performance Areas:
  • Create an analytic environment across the full SANBS value chain with Data Warehouse, which reflects current and changing business information requirements
  • Implements Data Warehouse development and changes according to conformed Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ETL methodology
  • SharePoint & TFS Application Administration
  • Contributes to BI projects
  • Build, develop and grow relationships with stakeholders

Minimum requirements

Education
  • Tertiary degree/diploma in Data / Information management, Information Systems or related field.
  • Undergraduate Business Analysis course.

Experience and knowledge requirements:
  • 2 years’ experience in a BI environment with Microsoft as a delivery platform.
  • 2 years’ experience with relevant Business Analysis.
  • Project Implementation and administration experience.
Competent in:
  • Advanced user support.
  • Proficient in Integration Services using Integration Services Product suites.
  • Proficient in Report writing using Reporting Product suites (e.g. SSRS, PowerBi).
  • Deep understanding of relational databases including data modelling and table structure.

Other (knowledge and skills):
  • Requires an understanding of the full SANBS data landscape across MULTIPLE source systems (BECS, SAP, Starlims).
  • Experience of full Data Warehouse lifecycle implementation.
  • A working knowledge of Donation Clinic and Blood Bank processes would be a distinct advantage.
