This position will be responsible for the execution of management functions associated with apheresis, therapeutic apheresis (TA), stem cell services (PBSC) and related cellular therapy services. The incumbent will be expected to: 1. Develop a management system appropriate for the range of services, including policy-, procedural and legal review; 2. Provide daily clinical and procedural oversight of patients along with lead consultant; 3. Provides oversight of TAA or other designated person(s) on completion of monitoring, administrative and financial functions; 4. Complete performance management, professional development planning and staff wellness functions for Therapeutic specialists; 5. Liaise with key internal stakeholders (operations managers, learning and development, medical officers, marketing, and IT); 6. Liaise with key external stakeholders (hospitals, physicians, suppliers, other therapeutic apheresis suppliers), and assists in development of additional therapeutic apheresis markets.
