Introduction
The incumbent will be required to perform the overall operations in the Red Cell Serology Laboratory in relation to routine technical functions, quality and administration.

Minimum requirements
Education:
- HPCSA Registered Medical technologist in Blood Transfusion
Experience:
- 18 Months experience in general Blood banking
Other (knowledge and skills):
- Employee relations.
- Understanding of Blood Transfusion Standards.
- Understanding of HPCSA regulations.
- Understanding of SANAS regulations and audit process.
- SAP and Blood Establishment Computer System (BECS)
