The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the Transport department efficiently and effectively. o Area 1 includes Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Vaal, Mpumalanga. ( -200) o Area 2 includes KZN, Eastern Cape Free State and Northern Cape. ( -150)

Minimum requirements

Education:
  • Undergraduate Diploma in Logistics and Transport Management
  • Ideal: Fleet Management Diploma

Experience:
  • At least 5 years' experience in a supervisory transport positions role within a fast moving consumer goods company or similar business with experience in the following:
  1.  Specific scheduling of drivers and vehicles routinely.
  2. Management of short notice deviations to the normal routine
  3. Fleet Management experience of Fleets greater than 30 vehicles.

Other(Knowledge and skills):
  • Understanding of National Road Traffic Act.
  •  Understanding of Dangerous Goods Act.
  • Knowledge and skill of Transport Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of SANBS policies and procedures.
