Minimum requirements
Minimum Criteria for Trainee Technician:

Qualification: Grade 12 with Mathematics and one other science subject and/or Laboratory Assistant Learnership.
Minimum Criteria for Trainee Technologist:
- Qualification: Diploma in Biomedical Technology
Minimum criteria required for Qualified Technician:

Qualification: HPCSA Registered Medical Technician (Blood Transfusion).

Experience as required for HPCSA registration as Medical Technician (Blood Transfusion).
