Introduction
To supervise and manage overall activities on their shift pertaining to First Line Processing (FLP), to monitor daily operational requirements, to perform the routine functions pertaining to the FLP department and ensure that daily operational activities meet required standards and that all procedures are adhered to.

Minimum requirements

Education:
  • HPCSA Registered Medical Technician (Blood Transfusion).
Experience:
  • 1 Year of Blood Transfusion experience.
Other (Knowledge and Skills):
  • Standards of Practice for Blood Transfusion in South Africa
  • Relevant SANBS policies and procedures
